[JOHN 12:24-26]
[JOHN 12:24-26]
24"Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.25"He who loves his life loses it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it to life eternal.
26"If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also; if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.
We are that Grain of Wheat and like verse 24 says that if it dies it will give much fruit. If you don't die to the world to the desire of your flesh you will not give fruit for God because if you don't die there will always be that "BUT WHAT ABOUT ME" going through your mind.If you die to your own desires and live for Christ our Lord than your going to have strength to overcome hard times and and accomplish what you were ask to do. Those who love their life in this world(DO WHAT EVER YOU WANT)will lose it and those who hate their life will Win it for Eternal life just like verse 25 says because if you love your life here than your going to be a proud person not wanting anything with God. Your going to fall into sinful ways all because you thought you were young and wanted to "enjoy" life but you die and your in front of God's Holy Throne it's going to be to late. If you hate your life (GIVING UP YOUR WORLDY DESIRES) you have eternal life because when you give up (SACRIFICE) your will you give yourself to God and do as He says. By you obeying God your Honoring Him and he will honor you and give you everything you ask for according to His Will. SO DIE FOR THE WORLD LIVE FOR JESUS. GIVE YOUR LIFE TO GOD. HONOR GOD TODAY AND HE WILL HONOR YOU AND GIVE YOU THE BEST GIFT EVER ETERNAL LIFE
God, His servant and His Kingdom
In order for the work of a man of God to prosper, his outcry on the altar on behalf of lost souls has to be done using whatever means of communication are available to him. This will make his work develop rapidly, and most importantly, with quality. If he relies solely on his communication skills to grow his church, he’ll be destined to become weak, because the spirit of complacency will take over him.
Considering that a man of God’s life is truly laid before God on the altar, body, soul and spirit, know that these are his seven commandments:
First: To treat people with the same level of consideration as he treats God, for it is written: “If someone says, ‘I love God,’ and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?” (1 John 4:20).
Second: To cry out in his battle for the people God has given him. Each man of God represents the Lord Jesus, and each person who enters the church is sent by the Holy Spirit, so that His servant can show him the way to salvation. Once a person is saved, he will glorify the Lord Jesus. That’s why He said: “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him” (John 6:44).
The Lord said, “Let the priests, who minister to the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar; let them say, ‘Spare Your people, O LORD, and do not give Your heritage to reproach, that the nations should rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples, “Where is their God?”’” (Joel 2:17).
Third: To never do the Work of God in a negligent way. The prophet Jeremiah said,“Cursed is he who does the work of the LORD deceitfully” (Jeremiah 48:10).
Fourth: To thirst for saving souls. If a man of God does not save souls, he feels like Sarah, Rachel and Hannah. They felt anguished, ashamed, and humiliated. And the same happens to the man of God that is “barren”. For this reason, he does not feel ashamed to cry before God, asking for souls.
Fifth: To feel happy and rejoice when, he sees people being born again before his eyes. To a man of God, there’s nothing better than to see people who belonged to the kingdom of darkness receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit, of joy, and of happiness, glorifying the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Sixth: To feel no jealousy towards his co-workers in the Work of God when their work grows and develops even beyond his own. On the contrary, he should rejoice because of their development, and pray that they bear much more fruit. Like the woman in the parable of the lost coin, the Lord said, “Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it? And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I lost’” (Luke 15:8,9).
Seventh: Not to only win souls for the Lord Jesus, but to make them His disciples as well. As a matter of fact, this is the most remarkable characteristic of a man of God who is consecrated. He’s concerned about making disciples more than anything else, because he knows that the development of the Kingdom of God in this world depends on men who have the same character as the Lord Jesus.
